The Golden Gate Bridge Roundhouse is now closed. In April 2012, a new Bridge Pavilion will welcome visitors, provide orientation and information services, house exhibits, and offer high-quality commemorative and interpretive merchandise. The 3,500 square foot Pavilion will occupy a portion of the southeast parking lot, across the plaza from the Bridge Café.

Parking is available in the parking lot on the southeast side. If traveling northbound, take the last San Francisco northbound exit from Highway 101. If traveling southbound on Highway 101, proceed through lane #1 (far right, west side) of the Toll Plaza and take the first exit on to Merchant Road. Make the first right turn and proceed down a small hill to the stop sign. Make another right turn on to the tunnel roadway that passes underneath the Toll Plaza. This feed directly into the southeast parking lot.
